Champlain Medical Clinic is part of a Family Medicine Group (FMG). This means that the family doctors at Champlain Medical Clinic work as a team with family doctors from two other clinics (La Clinique du Plateau and the Omniclinique) to expand the care offered to its patients. To be eligible for the FMG emergency appointment service, which is offered evenings, weekends and holidays, your family doctor must work at one of the three Omni-Plateau FMG clinics.
Check to see if your doctor or one of his or her colleagues is available to see you during the day. Only urgent consultations that cannot be scheduled during the regular physician's schedule will be accepted at the FMG emergency clinics.

As a member of the FMG, patients of the Champlain Medical Clinic also have access to the services of other health professionals, such as a nurse clinician, a social worker and a nutritionist. A pharmacist is also part of the FMG to support the work of the physicians and to do certain follow-ups with patients.
